Luxury Factory Finished Homes in India
India is going global yet the interiors sector remains unorganised and includes more manual work, making home interiors a time & energy consuming job for most. The vision was to make home interiors completely factory finished. Showcased is the first project towards an endeavour to make a 'branded factory finished home' yet personalising the design process completely for the high end client. One of the biggest challenges was to transform the messy & stressful experience of the client into a thoughtful, organic and seamless experience. Strategic Design, Ready to move in homes
The idea originated from a dire need to organise the interior sector of India for the masses & from sensing a strong market need to have factory finished home interiors completed in least amount of time. The project on one hand dealt with significantly reducing the production time & cost for interior project delivery whereas on the other hand increasing the production quality & fully automating the back end system. The showcased is a Product-Service-System Design for the consumers. A B2B strategy with various urban developers helped bringing a larger impact reducing the production time by 60% & delivering a fully furnished home to the end consumer in 60 days. 'Imagine moving to a new home with just your clothes & within 2 days of selecting the apartment ! New Baby Furniture Brand, System Design Project
The project started with understanding the gaps in the market & defining a scope of entering a furniture market & creating a competitive advantage in the category of baby furniture, for an entrepreneur ready to invest. The solution was a product-service-system innovated to launch the brand with a unique reselling service from the same brand to help the consumers save cost.
